After retiring, she discovered a gap in the San Antonio market for personalized staging when helping her in-laws redo their home. Her friend and eventual business partner, Mellisa Extrum, was soon on board, adding her flair for design to the mix. Together, they saw an opportunity to fill a niche with their personal touch and extensive knowledge of trends.
